Rabies is a communicable disease. The cause is usually a rabid animal who, for example, might have bit someone. The saliva causes a human to be extremely agressive. Even the saliva of a human who is infected with rabies, can transfer to another (ex: sharing drinking cups). Because of this possible transfer, it is a communicable disease.
