Scientists are unsure what even causes Arthritis, so the answer of it being spread is unknown. Arthritis is most likely a genetic disease, and if that's the case then no, you would only be able to get it from your parents. But there are other theories of what cases Arthritis, leaving this question a maybe.

Yes rheumatoid arthritis is an Auto immune disease and as such is carried by the blood. the immune system is able to attack any part of the body it wants to. this is why in the case of RA many joints can be effected at the same time. there is the added risk of many other organs an tissues falling victim to this disease.

It all depends on what type of arthritis you have some only effect a single joint as is often the case in joints that were damaged by accident however many forms of arthritis can happen in several parts of the body as a result of a persons predisposition where it involves the body's maintenance of joints in general and for some forms of arthritis like rheumatoid arthritis, which is an autoimune disorder it can hit any joint in the body as well as other tissue or organs,

Based on current evidence, no.

If you have arthritis, try eating licorice sticks that are made from real licorice root. Most are made in Australia.

Licorice is known for fighting autoimmune diseases like arthritis. Don't overdo your licorice eating. Too much can raise blood pressure.

Arthritis can't really spread...it's not like catchy. The cause of arthritis isn't really known though so it's a hard question to deal with. Once you get it in once place, your joints are all more susceptible though. Especially in the case of age, you're more likely to have it in more places.

aside from the fact that RA is an autoimine disease that can seriously effect joint and other organs and tissue in the body nor much is known about the cause aside from the fact that there seems to be a genetic conection in a lot of cases.

There seems to be a genetic predisposition however at this time it is still unknown what causes this disease so it is not possible to work out where exactly it comes from.

No you cant catch it from someone else. However there is very little doubt that a weakness for it can be passed on genetically.
