Well no not really. Most cats will try and get the hamster but u shouldnt worry because most hamsters will be safe in their cages. The cats will watch them in the cage and kinda stick their paw in or actually some cats dont even care about the little hamster. Just if ur cat is interested into ur hamster make sure its somewhere where the cat most likely cant get into and put it on low levels cause cats tend to try to knock the cages off tables and such.

I have a pair. mouse male robo hamster female doing it now. you have to place them hamster in the mouse cage and the mouse in the hamster cage so they get each others scent. do this for a week or two every day at least once. make sure the mouse isnt in its cage when you put the hamster in there and vise versa. at the beggining of week two start introducing them in a neutral cage and or cardboard box. make sure the set up has water bedding and two seperate houses. these can be cardboard strips put in a v. and spread food all over the bottom not in a bowl. the first time they meet aply ample amount of vanilla extract to their necks and backs using a qtip. if you put it on the genitals it wouldnt hurt. the first time there may be bickering. you must continuouly watch them. if fighting eurpts seperate them with a piece of cardboard.

Robo Hamsters get along with other small hamsters if they are siblings or they are raised from youngest. If he/she is a full grown Robo Hamster he will try to kill other hamsters.

Never put two different breeds of hamster together. It's not a good idea because one will be more dominant and they will hurt each other by fighting. Hope the answer helped.

Unless the dwarf hamster was in the same litter, I would advise against it. If they are not in the same litter, and you'd like to see if they get along, first put them in a neutral cage. Otherwise the hamster may feel that another male is trying to take over its territory.
