Will putting salt on a mouth ulcer help cure it?
I have tried this, and lo and behold, it does not work. It does succeed in causing much pain, though. *Rinsing your mouth with warm salt water helps prevents mouth sores.* ---- I have tried this and I always do it, it hurts for the first 20 or so seconds. But it dries out the skin around the ulcer and causes blood to rise to skin. It hurts for a bit but it stimulates healing. I have recommended it to a doctor and he now swears by it. No pain no gain... unless you want to deal with the pain when you eat for 2weeks.

What helps bad tooth pain?
How you help tooth pain is you can put numbing stuff on it. Or you can put warm water mixed with salt and swish it in your mouth around the pain. Warning: These things will only work for a certain amount of time (depending how much pain there is). If you still have pain for the next 48 hours then you have to go to a real dentist. I hope these work for you! :)

Does salt mixed with water forms a solution?
Salt mixed with water is salt water and you can use it to clean wounds in your mouth or sometimes they want you to use with cooking but not always but what i use it for is canker sores in my mouth i use salt and water solution to help them heal. Another way i use it is if you get a fresh piercing you can soak a cotton ball in a salt and water solution and hold the cotton ball to you piercing for about ten minutes and then with the left over salt ans water solution if you have some sort of mouth piercing you gurgle you mouth and make sure most of it gets to the piercing. So to answer your question yes salt ans water makes some sort of solution and i hope that is the answer you were looking for. :)

Are salt rinses good for teeth removal?
Rinsing the mouth with a saline (salt) solution can be very helpful after teeth have been removed. The rinsing can clean the mouth, and the salt restores the natural balance of the mouth and is antibacterial. If the mouth is sensitive, the solution can be warmed to match the body temperature to minimise pain.
What do you do if you bite your tongue?
Sucking on an ice cube can help numb the pain for a while, but my guess is that if you drink some plain hot water it will help too... but toothpaste on bitten area, gargle warm slat water, dont eat spicy foods, if you bite your tongue and it bleeds, rinse mouth out thoroughly with warm salt water, this will sooth it and stop infection

Should you rinse your mouth with salt water after you cut your tongue?
Yes, Also when your gums are inflamed and bleeding from flossing after infrequent flossing or right after you have had your teeth cleaned by a dental hygienist as your gums will tend to be sore after the trauma to the tissue caused by a good dental cleaning. Rinsing with as warm as you can stand it, salt water will help relieve the pain and inflammation of the gums.
