yes as they have the same notes and keys but a keyboard doesn't have any pedals which are used to hold notes easy, and make the music quiter but there will be buttons on keyboards which allow you to do the same thing.

Yes and no.

Yes, the fingerings are all the same and the embouchure is almost the same.

No, an Alto Saxophone plays in the key of Eb. A soprano Saxophone plays in the key of Bb (the same key as the tenor.) So the music is different but actually playing them is the same.

While there are some differences in playing different sized saxes, the fingerings are the same for the same written notes. For example, without too much trouble, an alto sax player can change to a tenor, because the fingerings are the same. However, the same written note sounds a different pitch when played on a different sized sax, so it's important to have a part that's written for the sax you are playing if you are playing with an accompanist, a band or other ensemble.

Piano and vocal sheet music is usually the same, because you play the notes. for example; you play a G chord, and you sing the G the same pitch and sound. But they are slight different, because you can't buy a piano booklet and vocalize it. You will need to combine the left handed keys with right handed keys. So basiclly their not the same.

Yes, indeed. The range of a common saxophone is within the range of a normal piano. BUT, if the saxophone is accompanied by a pianist, then it will be playing wildly different tones for any given note.

You can play the same music for piano and alto sax but if you want to play them at the same time you have to transpose it differently.

Is sheet music for the clarinet the same as sheet music for the flute?

No but it is the same as the trumpet & piano(Afgncaap8 disagrees, saying that clarinet music isdifferent from flute, and that it is the same as trumpet, but the clarinet has different music than the piano! The piano is a C instrument, whereas the typical trumpet and clarinet tend to be tuned to B-flat. However, usually the flute and the piano are both tuned to C, so their music could be the same.)

Guitar is very similar to a piano its notes are in the same place as the piano the piano has as 7 notes so does guitar cdefgab that is their order on the piano and guitar?

In classical western music, the same notes are used on all instruments. These can also be played on a guitar, and the same names are used. Their letter designations are also the same. Guitar players and piano players understand many of the terms such as "octave", "fifth", "major chord", "arpeggio" etc. in the same way. (Note that there are actually 12 notes if you include the black keys. These are also available on the guitar.) Guitar sheet music is typically written with the notes transposed up one octave. For example, the "middle C" on guitar sheet music is actually the same note as the next lower C on piano music. Most electronic keyboards with a "guitar" voice will make this transposition for you. Guitar sheet music usually does not use the bass staff found on most piano music. On a guitar, it is possible to make "microtonal" notes that cannot be played on a normal piano. These are achieved by "bending" the strings, stretching them sideways with the left hand. The technique is used to create expressive effects in blues and rock music.

Notes to nursury rhymes on flute?

Go to any instrumental music store and look at the piano music section. Many music stores offer simple books for children learning how to play piano and read sheet music. If there is a book on children's songs, purchase that. Flute is written in the same key (C) as piano, so you will probably have no trouble reading the music.

How is Piano sheet music transcribe into guitar tab?

Piano sheet music is not difficult to TAB. If you know where the note was on a guitar, you can tab it. The only problem is, there are some of the same notes in the same octave playable twice on the guitar. You have to figure out what fingering is more comfortable or convenient for you. For example: there are two ways to play a middle "C" on guitar, 6th string 8th fret, and 5th string 3rd fret. "A" is 6th string 3rd fret, and 5th string open. You can use guitar pro to convert the standard sheet music into guitar tabs, this way you can learn more about transcribing standard sheet music, into guitar tabs.
