Nope - there is currently no scientific method for predicting earthquakes.
Only in Los Angeles. :)
Meteorology is not an exact science because there are no models to accurately predict the complex nature of weather patterns on Earth. Some planetary meteorologists are studying Jupiter and Saturn because they have a much more predictable weather pattern. Possibly the science from these studies will help make better predictions here on Earth.
So...
No they Can't!
I belive that scientists can predict the future
It is impossible to predict an earthquake of any magnitude.
changes that happen just before an earthquake A+
They cannot determine which point along a fault has the most pressure.
Not really. Although scientists can atempt to predict when earthquakes are likely to occur with the use of special equipment.
THey know most of the times. They don't know it when it happpens so suddenly, etc.
no.
It is impossible to predict when an earthquake will happen.
Earthquakes do not happen in stages, or are visibly predictable like hurricanes or tornadoes. For example, we can use radars and weather tools to detect them. Earthquakes on the other hand, don't happen in stages so we can not precisely predict the exact timing of the earthquake. Scientists have other ways to predict earthquakes, even thought they can not predict the precise timing of the quakes. See the question below to see how scientists (seismologists) can predict roughly when and how much damage an earthquake can impose.
It is 'technically' impossible to predict when an earthquake is going to happen.
It is 'technically' impossible to predict if an earthquake is going to happen.
It is impossible to predict an earthquake of any magnitude.
Because the fault line will act up and that is a warning sign of a earthquake.
scientists can some times predict earthquakes
changes that happen just before an earthquake A+
They cannot determine which point along a fault has the most pressure.
Anywhere at anytime..... you can't predict them. They randomly happen, so there is not a specific time it will happen.
The Benefits of knowing when an earthquake is going to happen is that scientists can warn everyone in advance.
