Definitely. I use SL Viewer 2 and the program crashes all the time. I'm not too sure if it harms the computer itself, but it makes it freeze for a second then it's okay again, but you have to re-open the program. I also downloaded Phoenix Viewer, and I haven't had problems with it yet, but maybe that's because I don't use it as often.
No, Second Life is not bad for your computer, however due to the fact that Second Life is quite demanding on a computers resources it can cause some computers to become hot and maybe overheat. Laptop computers are most likely to be affected by this.

Computers are programmed with all the answers before they are sold so that when you ask the question, the computer can give you it's programmed answer "in a second".
It should not cause you any problems if you replace it. The only forseeable problem would be if you have had your computer modded, on the new computer those settings would not be present..
I would recommend getting rid of it, I had a few problems with it as well.
You can give birth in the game "Second Life", which you can download for free. You can also give birth in the game "Sims", which you have to pay for. For a more realistic birth, I would go with Second Life.

Spore has been having a lot of problems lately on everyone's computers and no one really knows why, it could be your computer having trouble processing or it could be the disc. If you go to the store where you got it they will have to give you a new one if its the disc that's experiencing problems.
