ive used those microscopes in geology labs, i know they allow you to see nylon fibres, but for nanoparticles you really need more focusing power. The lab i used t work in made use of SEM(scanning electron microscope) to see particles in the reange of 200 nanometres to ~900nanometres altough the microscope is capable of focousing in and out a tremendous amount
wikipedia has some useful information on this microscope

Yes. The optical microscope is the original light microscope.
A stereo microscope functions at low magnification and is an optical microscope. Unlike a traditional microscope a stereo microscope has two separate optical paths instead of the traditional one.
Optical or Light microscope
the principle of the microscope will be better understood by setting up such an instrument on the steel rule optical bench and using thin spectacle lenses in place of the more complicated objectives.
Metal samples among others can be viewed by a light microscope. The light microscope, also known as an optical microscope, can view microorganisms.
An optical microscope is what is commonly known as compound microscope.
light is must for optical microscope while is not necessary for nonn optical one
the optical system of a microscope is the objectives
An optical microscope uses light and one or more lenses to view cells. An optical microscope with two or more lenses is called a compound optical microscope.
An optical microscope is what is commonly known as compound microscope.
Yes. The optical microscope is the original light microscope.
optical microscope
The electron microscope is stronger than the optical microscope Electron microscope use electrons not light waves
Optical Microscope
An optical microscope is operated by hand, by the user.
With an optical microscope, the lenses
