No. Fever is not something you can catch. You can only develop a fever yourself in response to something going on inside of your own body.
If the person that you are sleeping next to thinks this is, then it sounds like they are trying to use you. If you get a satisfaction when just hanging around with them and not sleeping next to them, then thats what spending time with them is. If you are having trouble thinking about it, then address it to the person. If they truly understand, then they will give you a true undestanding.

yes they are. they can be transferred by clothes, hugs, sharing brushes, or hanging your coat by an infected persons
Through my experience, I had abdominal pains underneath my belly and had a fever the next day. After that I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks. I really don't know what caused it, but the fever was a symptom of a miscarriage for me. It may be different for you though.
