The "Springtime in Sweden" edition was a 900 Convertible. Only 350 were built, one for each dealership in the U.S. The name is from the annual dealer meeting, which was held in the spring of that year.
The S-in-S differed from other convertibles in that they were all black, with the SPG body panels and 3-spoke wheels. They did not have the SPG suspension. There is a small plaque on the dash of each car identifying it as a Springtime in Sweden edition.
