Yes, they can. But codes expire, so likely they don't work anymore anyway. It's a code, so it's easy to 'give' to someone, but it'll only work if it hasn't expired and hasn't been used.

Redeem codes are unique, and can only be used once. The Item you receive from them is generated for that purpose only, so guessing a code won't work, because the item for the code won't have been generated yet.
Each code is unique and can only be used once each. Furthermore, those codes would have expired by now. They were handed out to PAX members who played Spiral Knights.
There are no Cheat codes. If you're talking about the 'Redeem Code' option, that's for Codes given to players for certain items, like the PAX bombhead mask back during that promotion. Otherwise, the function serves no other use. Certainly NOT for cheats.
You'd have to receive it as a gift from someone.
The only codes that existed for Spiral Knights are unique Item Redeeming codes, generated for special events. You wouldn't be able to randomly guess one; they item for the code would have to be generated first, and they don't do that until they need to, and codes can only be used once.
They shouldn't. If they did, it could be illegally hacked or fake.
