No; you could not be hired by an airline with a criminal record because you have to be able to pass a background check before you could gain clearance into any airport in the country.
Different airlines have different rules for hiring employees,same as airports have different rules for hiring airport employees..Getting hired will all depend on those different rules and what is actually contained in your criminal record,there are thousands of airport and airline employees currently working that do have criminal records.
If a person has Convictions for serious crimes such as Assault,Theft over $300,Theft over $500,Destruction of property,DUI,Posession of controlled substances,and other even more serious crimes such as a felony you wont be hired.
The lessor crimes such as Simple shoplifting,Solicitation of prostitution,Simple tresspassing, Disturbing the peace,Public intoxication,Failure to pay child support,
non-felony animal neglect,urinating in public,failure to comply with a divorce degree,and several other minor crimes which can appear on your criminal record will not necessarily keep you from being hired unless of course you have numerous convictions for these lessor crimes.

∙ 12y agoI don't think so. Anyone having any form of criminal background will not pass the background verification process while applying for jobs anywhere, which includes any form of employment at the airports.
