You need to uninstall the game, I'm afraid. It usually means that a part of the game wasn't installed properly.
What does the cheat freedom do on spore?
The freedom cheat allows you, in the creature creator, to make a creature with more parts than it should legally have. I have created many a creature with far to many parts. Though I am not positive, I don't think you can share your overloaded creations. Note that the freedom cheat will not work in game.

Your computer might not meet the system requirements. Things that gave me a problem is operating system and graphics card and my computer was only a year old.
