They are no longer being sold by the post office. They are still valid for 15 cents worth of postage.
The H series First Class Stamp is still valid for 33 cents worth of postage. So you would have to add 12 cents to it to mail a letter in 2012.
All and every mint stamp of the US issued since 1861 can still be used for postage.
The pink John Adams first appeared as part of the 1938 presidential series and was used until it was replaced in the 1954 series. It is still very common mint or used. The coil variety is somewhat scarcer but very common. The was a 2 cent stamp in the 1902 series, but it pictures Washington. At retail, it is worth around $8 for a nicely centered mint stamp and around 30 cents for a nice used one.
I checked with our post office in alabama and they said the value of the H makeup stamp with USA and rooster weather vane is one cent and they are still usable.
Yes, you can still use the G rate dove stamp. The make up rate stamp can still be used for 3 cents of postage.

These are 15-cent stamps -- still good for 15 cents postage.
Yes. As long as the stamp was issued after 1867 and is still unused, it doesn't matter the denomination. It is still postage.
The A series stamp pictures an eagle. It has a face value of 15 cents.
My Uncle from St. Louis caught a foul ball from the 1982 World Series. His baseball has the 1982 World Series stamp on the baseball with a star stamp above the Rawlings logo. The 1982 World Series baseball is typically sold for more than other World Series baseballs. The 1982 World Series baseball could easily fetch up to $100 on eBay. I have not seen the stamp used on other game used World Series baseballs around that era. This is a very unique ball. IMO the value is easily over twice that of a non game used 1982 World Series baseball. Other 80's World Series baseballs would be hard to determine if they are actually game used. Since, the 1982 World Series had used a special stamp; these balls are easy to verify. Unless someone makes the star stamp the same size and stamped it to look similar. But, this would be costly to make a fake. Anyway, in my professional opinion, the baseball should sell for $250-$500.
The E stamp shows a picture of the Earth on it. It has a face value of 25 cents and can still be used for that value.
This is a 37 cent stamp and can still used for 37 cents postage.
