It is truly the glorious energy of the Force that miraculously heals people. Many people ascribe different names to the Force with their respective cultural prejudices but the Force does not discriminate nor does the Force actually participate in any activity within this physical realm. Just as the sun and the rain shines/falls on everything and everyone equally the Force is available to all equally. The power of the Force can be used to cure or to kill it all depends upon the desire of the user. Good and evil originated from the same source, just as light/dark, hot/cold, wet/dry, happy/sad, life/death etc. this universe cannot function without the pairs of opposites. We cannot appreciate one without the other. The ultimate fact is simply that the universe is intrinsically dependant on the constant interaction between positive and negative energy. It is the person's faith or belief that causes the healing. The person's faith acts as a placebo and it has the same effects. A placebo is used in medical treatment as a form of psychological conditioning that allows the patient to heal himself/herself by simply believing that they are receiving a miraculous new drug. Faith or belief is used primarily as a process of hypnotic conditioning for the super-conscious-brain.
The person with a fully developed subconsciousness (network link with the Force) can then influence or manipulate matter (the energy of the Force) to create the desired results.
