plug display cable on laptop with the broken screen's CPU
Is there a router that you can plug a laptop modem into so that I can get internet on my desktop also. The desktop would need ethernet and of course the laptop is usb. So is there a router out there that can do this?
Plug in the desktop monitor to the laptop and turn the laptop. if nothing comes up, go to desplay settings.
The computer is programmed to respond when sound cables are attached Edit: The sound cable is being attached to the laptop, but the desktop, which is in sleep mode, wakes up. The cable is not being attached to the desktop.
Option 1: There should be a monitor port on the back of the laptop. It's a blue plug. Take a monitor from a desktop computer and plug it into the blue port on the laptop. Then turn your laptop on. You will be able to see your laptop screen on the desktop monitor. Then save your files to a CD or flash drive. Option 2: If you don't have a blue monitor port on the laptop you will need to pull the hard drive out of the laptop and buy a hard drive 2.5" (Either SATA or IDE) to USB adapter then you can plug the hard drive into another computer and read the files, copy them, etc.. This option should be carried out by a technically savy person or computer tech.
You have to get a USB slot that can plug in to your laptop.
plug it in with a cabel, and use the computer
Plug it into your laptop or desktop. There's a cord for it.
Actually, all you need is an s-video cable. You can usually get them at dollar stores. On most laptops, like my HP, there is a little plug that looks like where you would plug in a mouse on a desktop PC. That's where you plug the cord in. On the TV, there is usually the same plug. It is commonly used to connect DVD players. Some TV's will not have them, though. Hope That Helps!
Yes you can you have to fasten the new one onto the top of your laptop and then plug it into the back of your laptop
Just plug it into the VGA port (or DVI port if the laptop / monitor uses one). Some laptops may require you to switch between the displays by pressing the "Fn" key and one of the function keys, such as F5.
You can plug your ipod into the USB port. You can find the USB port sometimes on the front of your desktop but there is always a USB port in the back of your desktop. Same goes for a laptop but the USB port is found on the right or the left side of the laptop.
