Yes it can, simply make a save get the achievement go into xbox storage click on Red Dead click on the last save game file (should have a time stamp) and delete which reverts it to the previous save and you will have to achieve the achievement again. However if playing online you will still have the logo for the achievement but NOT the gamerscore

On red dead redemption after playing it offline and getting the elegant suit I signed into xbox live and it said i had the suit still but it did not give me the achievement how do i obtain it again?
You should get the achievement whilst playing offline, but if you didn't it may be glitched. It has been reported that afew achievements can glitch on red dead redemption so.... You can just start a new save though and you should have £70 in no time, then you can head over to Thieves Landing and buy it. You don't have to wear the suit to obtain the achievement.
Why won't the redeemed achievement in Red Dead Redemption unlock?
I just found out how to do it. If you completed the game 100% and the achievement won't unlock, you have to load a saved game, then it will unlock automaticaly. Turning the Xbox on and off as other sites suggested doesn't work...

It means that you have to kill one of every animal species in the game. Last night i was hunting Bear, Beaver, Bighorns, and Elk (because they are the most valuable animals in the game/but i sell them to the shopkeeper in Escalara) i was aiming at a bear and i missed the shot completely because i never have the "aim assist" and my TV screen said Unnatural Selection Achievement Unclocked. I looked over and it was a domesticated horse. Enjoy. there are around 40 different animals in red dead redemption.
