Besides the mother's heart, a fetus would hear the mother's lungs expand and empty with each of her breaths, hear her sneeze and cough. A fetus would hear the mother's stomach growling when hungry, hiccups during indigestion, and the mother's normal bowel sounds (tinkles, clicks, rumblings). in addition, a fetus would hear movement of the amniotic fluid, much like being underwater in a swimming pool. And, of course, the fetus hears muffled voices, music, etc.
Physically yes, the ears work well, but the neural pathways are not complete and there can be no comprehension.
i am 8 weeks pregnant today, and this is my first child. I was wondering if i should or will be showing by july??
Yes, once its ears develop the mother's heartbeat is the dominate thing that the fetus hears up until birth.
No!
No. The fetus is so small at that point sometimes it is hard to detect the heartbeat to hear it.
yea to early
Sometimes the baby turns and causes you not to be able to hear the heartbeat.
No you can not
DC The heart forms after about 22 days(not complete but starts to receive blood). Because it is linked to the mothers blood supply its starts to pulse with the mother's heartbeat. Meanwhile heart tissue/muscle is still forming while the babies heart is still pulsing from the mothers heartbeat. At some stage the nerves from the babies heart get connected to his own brain and start to beat on its own as it receives the signal from his brain. First very weak, but as the nerve connection gets better, it starts to beat stronger up to the stage that you as the mother can feel/hear it.

The fetal heartbeat is difficult to hear in almost perfect conditions with a regular stethescope. The factors which make it more difficult is the babies heart can be further back near the mothers spine and not be audible at or near the mothers abdomen. This is more than likely just the position of the fetus in the womb. Another reason could be the kind of stethescope used. It should have been the two sided Littman type, and the smaller side should be used for infants.
My first pregnancy was like this all I had was the sac.. no yolk sac or fetus and I miscarried at 7 weeks. The only way to be sure is if there is a heart beat. I am 9 weeks now and have fetus yolk sac and a heart beat. Ask to hear for a heart beat to be sure.
the age is seventeen
About 3 months, usually respiratory system of the baby develops at 12 weeks of age. ** The fetus's heart starts beating at five weeks gestation. Through an ultrasound you can see the ultrasound at about 6-7 weeks. With a fetal Doppler you can hear the heart beat at about 9 weeks.
The fetus begins to kick and swallow, although most women still can't feel the baby move at this point. Now 4 oz (112 g) in weight, the fetus can hear and urinate
