According to The Bible, a person can come back to life, but only when Jehovah God does it. There are numerous examples of resurrections in the scriptures, all of which Jehovah's power was responsible for accomplishing it. Some of these examples include the prophets Elijah (1 Kings 17:17-24), his successor Elisha (2 Kings 4:32-37), and even Jesus. (John 11:41-44) In each instance, it was highlighted by the 1 performing the miracle that Jehovah was responsible for it.
There will be a resurrection on a much grander scale in the future. All of the righteous, innocent people that have died throughout history, as well as those that died before knowing who Jehovah was and what His principles were (a.k.a. "the unrighteous") will be brought back to life. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28-29) At that time Earth will be restored, and all those that remain faithful will be able to live in peace there for eternity.
