∙ 9y agoWithout question. We are wise enough to keep our heads, when all around us are losing theirs.
We have faced countless challenges before, and have surmounted each and every one, without
exemption. As a race, we put our nose to the grindstone, our back to the wind, our shoulder to
the wheel, and yet through it all, we still manage to work in that position, to do what must be done.
While even sinking to new depths, we rise to new challenges. We slip the surly bonds of Earth, and
dance the skies on laughter-silvered wings, put out our hands, and touch the face that feeds us.
Oh that our reach might forever exceed our grasp, else what's a heaven for. Oh say, can you see
how our faith makes us strong. As it were ever so, and be that as it may, so shall it be written, as well
and as it were.
