It depends what you mean by 'tree snake' ! If you're talking about the Green Tree Python, personally - I wouldn't recommend them. They have exceptionally long teeth (their primary prey is birds - so their teeth need to be long enough able to penetrate a layer of feathers). They are also one of the more aggressive species !
