If you are referring the Drunk-Law, then yes - if Police suspect you of being drunk whilst driving, they are entitled to search your car without smelling alcohol. In fact, surveys show that the vast majority of the time, Police do not find 'suspects' by smelling alcohol; they see dangerous driving and ask you to pull over. They then use an instrument called a breathalizer which you blow into, and it can scientifically tell the officer whether you've been drinking. Then appropriate actions are carried out according to whether you've been drinking. If you don't pull over when the police tell you to, much more serious and undesirable consequences happen.
It is, ultimately, not advisable to drink drive. If you want to drink, take public transport or get a taxi home.
mashmum (مشموم) It means smelled (as in "The car was smelled.")
well the alcohol would need to be open for him to charge you with anything. and if he finds an open alcohol container he has the right without warrant to search and the car. so if he did search your wallet for other crimes that would be legal. p.s. what kind of crime do you put in a wallet????
i don`t know i have never smelled or drink alcohol but i think it smells bad!
Placebo
They smelled of alcohol. A similar term is "stinking drunk".
The way alcohol is detectable on breath is because air in the lungs is absorbing alcohol from the bloodstream, therefore there is no way to beat a breathalyzer. If you mean is there alcohol that cannot be "smelled" then yes because there are flavored drinks that you wouldn't be able to smell the alcohol.
You can use either term. 'Burned' and 'burnt' are variations on the same word, just like 'learned' and 'learnt'.So you could say, 'The car smelled of burned rubber', or 'The car smelled of burnt rubber'.
Not in my car.
I think that would be rather difficult for you to search your car while in handcuffs. Now, can the police search your car while you are handcuffed? Sure if they have your permission or if they have a search warrant.
Yes, if you search it there a a few pictures of him drinking alcohol.
The word 'smelled' has one syllable.
you smelled something you never smelled be for
