Drug toxicity mean the degree to which a drug can harm humans or animals. Toxicity may well occur in the recommended dosages. On the other hand, overdose means taking an excessive amount. They are not the same since toxicity may occur without overdose although overdoses often lead to toxicity.
Drug tolerance can increase the likelihood of drug overdose for several reasons: 1) A person addicted to a drug to which they've built tolerance may overestimate the amount of the drug they need to ingest to get high. For instance, a heroin addict might find they need more and more heroin to stay "well" as the months go by. They might assume that they can put off the effects of withdrawal by doing double the amount of heroin they did yesterday. This can lead to an overdose. 2) The other reason tolerance can contribute to overdose is if someone who has had a period of sobriety thinks they can use the same amount of a drug that they used before their sobriety. This is a very common cause of death amongst heroin users. Alcohol is one of the only drugs in which tolerance can lead to death, without the overdose. When a person becomes physically addicted to alcohol (usually will experience delirium tremens when they have had short periods of time without alcohol), they can die when they try to quit drinking. Often the alcoholic will have seizures and needs prompt medical attention to prevent death.

They say she accumulated enough blood pressure pills to intentionally overdose herself. She committed suicide.
Yes, a drug overdose will cause death if medical intervention is not sought in good time.
While tolerance to the effects of LSD can develop, it is unlikely to cause dependence.
An overdose of LSD substantial enough to cause life-threatening physical symptoms is thousands of times the recreational dose, and therefore is not typically a risk to the average user. However, LSD may certainly cause frightening psychological effects and a risk for dangerous behavior when ingested in excess.
Seroquel is generally hard to overdose on, as it is designed for people with psychotic disorders. Some people are perscribed 1200mg a day. It is an expensive drug. Remembering it depends on what you are using it for (insomnia or psychotic disorder), your tolerance to the drug, whether you've eaten or if you combine it with other drugs.
yes overdose painkiller can cause high temperature n other side effects alsoo
Yes - if it is something that you can overdose from with 20 of them - like arsenic. No, if it is something you cannot overdose from with 20 of them - like sugar.
Addictive drugs
I am assuming you mean "Ativan". Taking normally prescribed amounts of both would not cause an overdose.
I believe Cetirizine IS an antihistamine. And it would take a pretty large amount to overdose. MAOI drugs should not be taken with an antihistamine though because it can cause serious drug interactions I hear. But to answer the question- YES it is possible to overdose and die on any drug if enough is taken.
