With a DISH Network receiver this is definitely possible, it is referred to as a "Dual-Tuner," and as long as the receiver is in Duo Mode, it allows you to watch independent programming on both TV1 & TV2. So the answer to your question is Yes, you can operate two TVs off of one DISH Network satellite receiver. Hope this helps you out!

Will my Satellite Receiver still work when there is heavy snow outside?

Some inclimate weather can cause satellite receiver interuption. If it is snowing heavily and the snow is building up on your satellite receiver it can cause the picture to be disrupted or cut off completely.

No. You must have a satellite receiver connected to the satellite dish that will decode the satellite transmissions and present it for display on your TV set.

Can 2 different satellite receivers operate off the same dish antenna?

Yes if you have a dual LNB(2 coax ports) and RG6 coax cable run to both receivers. If you don't grab one off eBay just make sure it is the same shape as your mount arm and for the correct satellite provider.

Do you need an aerial for satellite tv?

A aerial antenna is used most commonly for off air channels-mainly local channels if you are in a close enough range. Satellite dishes are installed outside and then a receiver/tuner attached to your tv

Why do LNB's have to be mounted close to the satellite dish?

The LNB takes the signal reflected off the dish, sends that signal through the coax cable to the receiver, where the receiver decodes the signal unlocking the channels you subscribe to.

There is problem with a satellite dish it keep doing on and off signal when listening music this is a good signal and how it keep donig that?

Chances are that it's not your satellite receiver. More often than not, the program provider is having some type of technical difficulty and they may not even be aware of it. The other possibility is that the satellite company has a bad receiver (they get their programming from satellites too, and `pass it along'.)

How do you change the remote control address on a replacement remote for a Bell Expressvu 4500 receiver?

Dish Network satellite receivers can be programmed to operate on different remote control addresses. Switching to a different address is necessary if you have 2 satellite receivers or if your neighbor's receiver is set on the same remote address and they are changing your channels. # Press the Mode button until the remote is in the SAT mode. # Press the Address button once (the SAT mode light will start flashing). # Use the numeric key to enter an address between 1 and 15 (do not put a 0 in front of single-digit addresses; 1 is the default remote address). The SAT mode light will stop flashing and stay lit. # Press the Address button again to save the change to the remote control. If you entered a valid remote address, the SAT mode light will blink 3 times. # Make sure the satellite receiver is Powered-off. If not, power the satellite receiver off and wait 15 seconds. # Press the Info button on the front of the satellite receiver. This will bring up the "Important System Information" menu. # Press the red Record button the the remote. The screen will update and the "remote address" listed on the screen will change to the new remote address of the remote control.

How does satellite operates through the use of gravity?

Satellites operate through the use of gravity because the force of gravity on the satellite results in circular motion around the earth or any other celestial body, and if that force was too big it would cause the satellite to come crashing down and if it were too small the satellite would just go flying off into space

Upgrade receiver software?

Dish Network satellite receivers upgrade automatically, usually at night depending on your settings. You can encourage a software update by making sure the receiver is in "stand by" mode. If you have a Dish TV duo receiver, you must make sure both TV1 and TV2 are off. Wait a few minutes, if a software update is available you will see the message that your receiver is updating. If not, call Dish Network customer service.
