However, in cases such as high school shootings, I think the only connection is that the person in question happens to be interested in Video Games for whatever reason also happens to make them want to shoot people. I don't believe that violent video games make people want to do violent things. They're simply the most convenient scapegoat people can blame instead of the person who actually did the action in question.
