Yes. White people can have locks. They take a lot of work though... so be prepared. You just need to wash your hair with a residue free soap, let it dry - I mean DRY. Divide hair into square sections (square sections make round locks) and secure with rubber bands. Try to plan ahead as far as how many locks and what size you want. Starting from the base of your head back comb or tease the hair with a flea comb. Make sure you start back combing at the base of the section, near the rubberband, then work your way down. When finished, you can rub a SMALL bit of wax on your hands and then roll the locks between the palms of your hands to coat with wax. Wax may or may not be needed with your hair type. You will need to continually maintain the locks by rolling and waxing the hair for the first year or two, until the dreads are tight and well knotted.
