well i cought one and he seems to be the perfect pet type just feed him crikets they love those......so i guess it could

You need a license to keep reptiles. Once you've done that you can go to web sites such as: www.herpshop.com.au Once you do that you click on herp trade and surch for lizards. (blue tongues are good pets)
