In a fictional world, anything is possible.
Unless there's a spell that they can use on themselves to make them live forever (and I'm sure there is) no, I don't think they do.
Not wizards in the sense of Harry Potter novels. But there are Witches and Wizards groups and societies and even call themselves by these names. These ones do not have magic powers.
Rob Gringotts. Only the dark wizards rob there, VOLDERMORT, IS THAT YOU?!
Yes, there are people who practice some form of magic or magic based spiritual system and who call themselves wizards in practice today.

Get a blank sketch/drawing pad and decorate it however you want to. Then look up wizards of Waverly place spells or make up your own and write them in the book, and you have a wizards of Waverly place spell book!
Yes, there are real Wizards! No, they do not shoot stuff out of their hands. Real Wizards are extraordinary people. They are solitary people and they are very wise. The reason they are called Wizards is because they are able to control their environment. They are at peace with themselves and they do not entertain immaturity. If you read a book called, "The Way of the Wizard", by Deepok Chopra, you will better understand what a true Wizard really is! Enjoy!
I've already answered a similar question to this so I'll keep the response brief. Science does not recognize the existence of magic, and therefore does not recognize the existence of wizards. However, there are people who call themselves wizards (for various reasons) and they do exist, so by default wizards DO exist (though the jury's out as to how magical they really are)
