Not in the Air Force, Navy, Army or National Guard. Not sure about the Marines though but I am willing to bet no. For girls, hair has to be in a bun or above the collar of her shirt. Colored girls usually have the option of neat corn roll braids, since our hair usually requires a little more upkeep. I am a colored girl in the Navy and wear my hair in braids, I re-did them every two weeks in basic training.
