Yoga cannot cure Diabetes, but it can harmonize the lifestyle changes which are important to keep all the symptoms in diabetics under control. Yoga exercises really improve blood circulation particularly in extremities. It is a combination of real relaxation training that can really reduce blood pressure.

I beg to differ. Manduk Asan and Ardhmatstendrya asan do the message of pancreas which causes the activation of beta cells and thus improve/cure the diabetes. I personally have experienced it.

What is the cure if a diabetes?

Diabetes cannot yet be permanently cured, although it can usually be controlled quite successfully. It all depends on the specific type of diabetes. With type 1 diabetes, there is little or no insulin produced by the pancreas. That's why daily insulin therapy is needed. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no way to cure type 1 diabetes. For type 2 diabetes, management includes healthy nutrition, exercise, and weight management, as well as taking medications like metformin or other glucose-lowering agents if needed. Certain patients with type 2 diabetes may experience remission, especially with significant weight loss. Remission, however, is not a cure since diabetes can come back with recurrence of weight gain. Therefore, instead of trying to find one single cure for the disease, the main goal is to maintain blood glucose within recommended parameters and avoid complications. Diabetes therapy should be personalized by a physician depending on the type of the disease, glucose/HbA1c levels, medications, weight, and other health conditions.

Does insulin cure diabetes?

No, insulin does not cure diabetes; however, insulin therapy can be crucial to controlling blood glucose levels and avoiding complications in many diabetic patients. Type 1 diabetics require insulin because their bodies do not produce enough insulin or none at all. That's why they have to use insulin for survival purposes throughout their entire lives. As for type 2 diabetes, insulin is recommended to patients whose blood glucose levels can't be regulated by dieting or oral drugs, as well as in special cases like pregnancy, critical illness, or when patients have extremely high glucose levels. There are patients with type 2 diabetes who can later on lower the dose of insulin or even stop using it entirely, if their glucose level improves under doctors' observation; however, it doesn't mean that their illness has been cured. Insulin may be required for gestational diabetes in addition to dietary changes and exercises when the latter is insufficient to bring the blood sugar level within the recommended limits. Gestational diabetes disappears after birth, but having this condition predisposes to type 2 diabetes in the future. In summary, insulin is used to compensate for insulin deficiency in people with diabetes. It is not a remedy for diabetes. Therapy should be customized depending on many factors including the type of diabetes, blood sugar levels, medications, and general health status.
