resources can be broadly classified :renewable and non- renewable biotic and abiotic ubuiquis and localised developed and...............................
No new fossils to form new fuels. What there is is what there is- when it is gone, it is gone.
Two typical examples are Oil and Solar power. There will come a time when the oil reserves will run out - making it a non-renewable source of power. Solar power on the other hand will be available as long as the sun continues to provide us with energy. The sun's energy is a continuing thermal 'cycle' turning hydrogen into helium, and back to hydrogen.
non-renewble resources would eventually run out e.g. coal, natural gases, oil Some non-renewable gases produced harmful gases when turned into electricity, plastic, e.t.c renewable resources cost a lot more to substitute for non-reusable resources e.g. wave, wind and solar power ...these are all the ones i can think of at the moment... :\
Ok, well think about this: what are some things that we use that are natural, but are not made very frequently? For example, oil is naturally made, correct? Well, it is not made that often. It takes many, many years to develop. You do know that a renewable recourse is like water, right? It is always being made, and quickly made at that! But oil isn't quickly made. We (us as humans) are using more oil than there is being made. And that's what make a resource nonrenewable.(sorry, it's hard to explain : ) )

Explain the ocean resources in detail.
oil is non renewable it can't be renewed and its cannot be used again and again.
It takes millions of years to form-Apex
