yes update your actionreplay
In order to add a game to the action replay you need to have the game's ID. The ID is located on the front of the game card. For example, the ID of Pokemon Platinum in America is NTR-CPUE-USA.
is there any way to actually be able to add the Pokemon platinum version onto the action replay and then put codes onto it??... because i have tried to use platinum with action replay and it just says something like " unknown game" and then it just starts up the game like normal. do i have to go through and connect it to the computer in order to put platinum onto action replay??

on your action replay click the * to go to codes then click (add new code)
you go to <add new game> and enter the game code
you cannot get manaphy without action replay if you go to the Pokemon mansion with the garden theres a book you can read that will add it to your pokedex
buy an action replay. it has tons of cheats. i think one is for a complete national dex :).
well an action replay is like this thing you put in your ds and dsi and what you do with it is that you put codes so its used for cheating.and action replay codes are codes you can use to cheat on a game so foe example you have Pokemon platinum go to google.com and put Pokemon platinum action replay codes and there are lots of links so choose one write down the code put your game and add the code.hoped that helped CrIsTaL:D

on action replay type in CPUENOJ22 OR D1 R-2 Y10-01. ITS ON THE BACK OF THE GAME CARD POKEMON PLATINUM
you have to hook the replay up on the computer and download it.
You have to plug your action replay in to your computer and install the software from the disk that came with it (if you havent already!) then open up the program and connect action replay to your computer and click "quick update" this will delete all the games on action replay (with is part of the prosess!) and add the updated form of these games plus some more! that's how to keep your action replay up to date! hope this helps!
