No, you need a special salt for a saltwater tank.
boil the green fig and shred the salt fish move the bones add salt
the fish will be preserved..`~lhaie
No you cannot do that. There are special minerals in the salt water that the fish need to survive. Even though there may be some fish that can be in both types in water. Like a dolphin. If you do want a salt water fish you could buy sea salt and add it to your aquarium.
When adding salt to pond and/or aquarium you should always read your label to see how much of that particular salt you should add for your size pond/tank. Do not use table salt.
The only time salt should be added to a freshwater tank is if there is a specific need for it. (As a medication) Freshwater means just that. NO SALT!!. Keep adding salt and all your fish will die. My advice is when you are doing the next weekly 50% water change that all aquaria need, do not add any salt and then each time you do a water change the water will become less and less salty until you have good fresh water and healthy fish and plants again.
fish ofcourse how didnt you know that!
You are talking about salt water (marine) fish. Maybe you should ask on the "salt water" category.
Well, there are 2 types of fish, saltwater fish, and freshwater fish. Only put in saltwater if you own a saltwater fish. Note: Saltwater fish could live safely in freshwater, but freshwater fish will suffocate in saltwater.
Aquarium salt, not sea salt. Make sure it is freshwater salt, not marine salt or iodized. Salt in fresh water tanks can reduce stress and help in healing. Many types of fish including the live bearers and gold fish greatly benefit from it , helping to promote reproducing.
no. the reason is because they r not saltwater fish. they r tropical.
The best way to know is to use a hydrometer to measure the salt level, you want around 1.025 or 35 ppt salt.
firstly it is dried in sunlite than we add some common salt in it.
