On the top of your screen in safari, hover over safari and select preferences, after that select extensions and either: A. Uninstall NCH Toolbar or B. Turn of extensions (This may only work on OS X 10.7{Lion} and OS X 10.8{Mountain Lion})

Well you do not list what is wrong with Safari. I would recommend you restart your MacBook and see if that solved the problem. If not, then open Safari and then click the name Safari at the top left of the screen and then click Reset Safari. On the window that comes up check every single item and then click Reset. Also click Safari and then click Preferences >> Extensions. Uninstall any extension you do not want. Extensions can cause problems especially if they are not an extension approved by Apple. Now on the same Preferences screen click the Privacy tab and click Remove all Website Data.
