Yes, you can be both. You can also be a doctor, a real estate agent, an engineer if you want to. As long as you passed all the necessary requirements and licensing exam for each of those professions then you don't need to worry.

What a Tax Law Attorney Does?

A tax law attorney is specialized in all aspects of the tax law. It would seem logical that if any tax errors occurred the CPA would be the one to take care of the problems between you and the IRA. There are many things that a CPA can handle when it comes to filing your taxes. However, if a more involved tax problem were to occur, you would need a tax law attorney. Also if the IRS were to question you because the taxes were underpaid, you will need the assistance of a legal expert attorney who can give you expert legal advice. 1. Understand that a tax law attorney is an expert only in the field pertaining to taxes. He or she knows the taxation rules, regulations and legalities better than a CPA. If a specific taxation problem that the IRS found in your already filed income tax forms was found, the matter might need to be brought to trial. Remember that a tax law attorney cannot be made to testify- but a CPA could be. 2. One other important matter that could occur that could cause you to require the services of a tax law attorney. The CPA might not be up-to-date on the recent tax law and filed the wrong information. 3. A tax law attorney’s only job is to help those who have a problem as it pertains to the income tax laws. Not all laws are easy to understand. Not all laws are written so they can be easily understood. 4. Keep this in mind the next time that you do your taxes. It is perfectly permissible for you to have the taxes done by a CPA. However, when the taxes have to be filed in an extremely legal way, the best person to call for assistance is a tax law attorney. 5. A reputable tax law attorney will be able to let you know all of the ways that you can legally win your case. A good tax law attorney can also give you the tips you can use so that you can pay less than was figured. He or she can also help to get the IRS to stop harassing you if they are.
