Yes. Considering the fact that it is illegal in all states, here in California it is possible. There is a high percentage of Hispanics that live in California and many of them are illegal. California has the eighth largest economy in the world. California brings in over 128 billion dollars a year on agriculture and agricultural related activities and many of the field workers are illegal. Why? Because water is so expensive and scarce, that the companies they used to have pick the fruit they cannot afford. For the farmer it is cheaper to have a non- US citizen do it because they are here illegally, they know they are and won't be able to find a job, can do field work for a cheap price and they know that the farmer will not pass them up because they are willing to work for cheap, and at the same time they have protection because they have working hours and are able to show they are a productive citizen. To give an example when you go to the Hospital and you are an illegal alien, the staff cannot call you in for being a non- US citizen and the Dr. is required to treat any and all individuals that walk through the doors; that includes those who are illegal or a non- US citizen.
