I think so u might need to specialize in 2
It sounds like you're talking about vault. In a team competition or all around competition, gymnasts only do one vault. In event finals gymnasts compete two different vaults. The average of the two scores is their final score.

Yes, its is basically pole vault without the pole.
Pole Vault
there is a vault in gymnastics which gymnasts jump over and you can have a vault - which is like a safe, where u keep money/goods etc.
downhill skiing, diving, gymnastics, pole vault, and bobsledding
Vault, beam, uneven bars, and floor.
Gymnasts can do two vaults each now too, but the reason is to get the highest score you can get, because your final score is the average of each individual vault score.
With gymnasts! You can use a beam, uneven bars, vault and floor. Edit: Some places do beam, floor, eneven bars, vault, and trampoline. :)
a gymnastics competition is when gymnasts come to a certain place and compete against each other. They will be scored from 0.0 to 10.0 on the events beam, bars, floor, and vault. Then at the end of the competition, the gymnasts are awarded with medals. a gymnastics competition is when gymnasts come to a certain place and compete against each other. The United States won every pole vault competition from 1896 to 1968.
In the United States, usually at a gymnastics gym, where gymnastics classes (and sometimes other physical activities) are taught to children and teenagers, and sometimes adults. A child may be on a gymnastics team at that gym, where they will learn routines and skills on every event (usually) - floor and vault for both men and women, and also balance beam and uneven bars for women, pommel horse, rings, and parallel bars for men. The team participates in meets, when gymnasts will show their routines and receive a score from a panel of judges. It is ideal to compete every event at a meet, including vault, although gymnasts sometimes do not compete every event due to injury or incompetency.
