Yes. In fact, I currently attend three universities and a medical school (The College of William and Mary, Norfolk State University, Old Dominion University, and Eastern Virginia Medical School). In my case, the four institutions are involved in a consortial program in doctoral-level clinical psychology. However, our grades / transcripts / recommendations / financial aid are handled as though we attend each institution separately. My understanding is that several universities are involved in SOME sort of consortial agreement, so I would contact these programs and ask them for guidance.

- YES you can attend two colleges at the same time, so long as you can be sure you do not cross over the fin aid. in other words, don't cheat the system, they will find out. other than that you can no problem
- Yes, you can attend two colleges at a time. You cannot receive financial aid at both schools. If you aren't on financial aid you can do whatever you want to. If you are on financial aid, you must consult your financial aid adviser to find out what the rules are for you.
Note: even if you can do it be sure that you will be able to handle the educational task load.

∙ 16y agoYes it is possible to be enrolled in two colleges at the same time. Some individuals - at times - run into a problem where certain required courses are not offered within the semester they must take it for graduation purposes, or we can also say there are multiple valid reasons for a double enrollment (at times). Note I indicated "valid reasons." Still, you should have a primary college from which you will graduate. In this case you should secure a permission form (Visiting Student form) from your primary institution. This gives the other college the go-ahead to register you for a specific course, and it protects you. In other words, with a signed permission form you are assured the course you take will transfer back. If there is another reason for enrolling in two colleges simultaneously, I would strongly advise that you speak with an academic counselor before hand.

∙ 14y agoYes you can. One of the college's would be your home institution and the other you would attend as a transient student, possible requiring permission from the home school, dean, or advisor. Or, you could apply to both schools as a non-degree student and attend that way.

Lots of students take courses from different schools. Most often, students in an accelerated high school program take college courses that aren't available in their high schools. Also, many college students take courses either from other schools or correspondence courses while attending their primary college or university. To ensure that the credits are transferable, it is wise to speak to your counselor before signing up for the course. So the answer is...Yes.
