You could indeed be missing a disc - I have no idea what that has to do with World of Warcraft, however, so I am going to take this question out of that category!
If you are missing a disc, your doctor can easily find this out through an X-ray. You would probably not have any problem from this unless your spine is out of line also. If you think you might have a back problem, see your doctor for a good check-up!
usually located in the back part of the spine
Multilevel disc desiccation is a health condition of the spine. This health condition or disease is the loss of fluid between the discs of the spine. This fluid or jelly acts as cushion for the spine against pain. Multilevel disc desiccation is a degenarative disease.

Spondylosis is pain and degeneration of the spine. A spondylitic protrusion is the disc tissue that has displaced beyond the disc space.
I'm thinking this is an incorrectly worded question. Isn't there a disc between each vertebra in the spine? There are 26 discs in the spine.

It's lumbar 4 and 5 - lower spine (the curved dip in your lower back).
The spine surgeon may go for operation, in which the compressing portion of the disc is removed. This procedure is called as discectomy.
Disc desiccation happens when fluid is lost from the intervertebral discs of the spine. Disc dessication leads to acute back pain, due to excessive wear on the vertebrae (small bones which make up the spine) and the discs (located between the vertebrae) themselves.
That is the disc between the fourth and fifth vertebrae in the lumbar region of your spine, just below your waistline.
This disc is located between you third and forth thoracic vertebrae. It can be well visualised by MRI of the thoracic spine.
