Well my boyfriend and i didn't wait the full four weeks before having sex after the procedure, just three. I didnt have my birth control in because i wasn't suppose to insert anything right after surgery (nuva ring). We did use a condom, but apparently it wasn't affective because i became pregnant. For my first visit with the doctor about my prenancy, she checked my cervix and said everything was almost back to normal! so i conceived without everything 100% ok.
