Yes, you could possibly be pregnant. Some pregnancy tests can give you a fairly reliable answer as soon as the 1st day of your missed period. The cramping could be indicative of the implantation of the embryo into the uterine wall. Take the HPT now and then make an appointment to consult your doctor no matter what result you get.
