I learned that it is possible to be Primal Dialga if you beat him many times and you recruit him. The only way to do this is to save at mid point, go alone, bring reviver seeds and keep fighting him then if you loose restart your ds then you are at mid point and keep doing that.

You can visit him again later to catch him, but i forget how. Also, there is no way to change dialga into primal dialga after you catch him.
