I recently asked a drug company that same question and was told only tablets with a line marked in the middle would actually give half a dose; if any pill does not have a line marker, it means the drug is not evenly distributed within the tablet. So, the dog (or person) could actually still get a full dose, or none at all, if given half a pill without a line marked in the middle. But if there is a line on the pill, then half a pill would safely be exactly half a dose. The best thing is to call your pharmacy about any questions with drugs, they usually know more than anyone.
it is an overdose, it can give your dog an infection internaly, dont do it
You need to give syrup penicillin for complete ten days. Dose depends on the weight of your baby. Shorter course may lead to rheumatic fever.
I made a time capsule. It's a capsule that you swallow just like a pill.
what is the correct cephalexin dosage for a 34 LB dog and how many times a day.Is it 250mg twice a day?
check this out with your vet. if the dog needs it then the vet will prescribe and give correct dosage
Has this drug been prescribed for your dog by a veterinarian? If so, how did he tell you to use it? I would call the vet and ask for instructions on how to give it to your pet. If it was NOT prescribed by a vet, and is for human use for seizures, then DO NOT give it to your dog. Take your dog to a vet if it is having seizures.
Well Its A Crane That Will Give You A Capsule with a goodie inside

My dog was spade on Wednesday and she is now showing signs of pain or infection. i had some cephalexin from a previous vet visit. Since there is no vet office opened until tomorrow, is it safe to give her the antibiotic? I am afraid if I wait the infection will be worse. It is 250mg. two times a day.
Give the prescription as directed because giving twice the recommended dose is giving too much at once.
Give the horse an anti-poisoning capsule.
