Can you breed a black bear hamster with a regular hamster?
Yes you can breed any animal with its own breed as long as there in the same category
I would get a black bear hamster or a teddy bear hamster because they are known to be the nicest! :)
By 'Teddy bear' do you mean Long-haired Syrian? And by 'black bear' do you mean black Short-Haired Syrian? Then yes. They are both Syrian.
Yes, one just has longer hair, but are the same breed.
Hi, The fiercest breed of hamster? I know for one breed the Black Bear hamster is pretty fierce. Not exactly the cuddly type! I honestly don't know what the fiercest breed is but Black Bear Hamsters are aggressive. Hope this helps a little!
DONT DO IT. mixing breeds is a bad idea buster. ToniRulez you could breed 2 different kinds of hamsters but a regular hamster and a dwarf hamster might not be a very good idea
Black Bear Hamster is their nickname. Their real name is a Syrian Hamster. No, not all Syrian Hamsters are male. They require a female in order to breed.
I would definetely say a black bear hamster by far.. they are the nicest and tamest of all the different breeds of hamster.. never have i had one that bit me or anyone it didnt know. I never had a black bear but I have had a teddy bear and it was a sweety.
The hamster breed that is best with children is probably a golden bear hamster. Sometimes called the "Teddy Bear Hamster." You should Google Search Images of the Golden Bear Hamster.
it is possible, it may be very unlikely though, then again, my winter white can breed with a panda bear hamster, so, maybe.
the biggest breed of hamster is a teddy bear hamster they are known to be the largest because of there fat and thick skin
Yes. 'Teddy bear' is a fur variant, the actual breed name is 'Syrian Hamster'.
No because a teddy bear isn't living.A hamster may hump the bear but nothing will happen.
Well depending on the breed, but from the hamsters I've had I would say from 5-12 months (for most hamsters) cause I have a black bear hamster myself.
Yes I did. The babies look awesome.
a fancy black bear hamster is a calm hamster that great as petz. i have one and he adorable! they a black and and have short cut hair. they are great to have as pets
There is no such breed as a Dwarf teddy bear hamster. The normal 'Teddy Bear' hamster is just a nick-name given to another variation of the Syrian hamster. This is the long haired variety and is sometimes referred to as the "Teddy Bear" These hamsters are all one and the same breed, the Syrian hamster. (Mesocricetus auratus) No attempt should be made to intermix different species.
You can breed a polar bear and a brown bear and get a fertile offspring. You can not breed black bears and polar bears successfully.
The most popular hamster is the Dwarf Hamster, in second place is the teddy bear hamster and in third, the black bear hamster!
A panda bear hamster gets about 34 centimeters long, they are about the average size of a regular hamster. Hoped I helped! :-}
The hamster i think is the most tame is the teddy bear hamster
Depends what you mean by 'type'. If you mean can a Syrian Hamster mate with a 'teddy bear', 'black bear', 'fancy' hamster, etc, then all these names are simply variants of the Syrian, and are different species. Therefore they can all freely breed together. A syrian hamster though cannot be bred with dwarf hamsters, or European hamsters, these are different species.
The life span of a black bear hamster is around 2 to 2 and a half years.
Do not breed your hamsters until you learn that "Black Bear" is not a breed and all hamsters breed the same. Do research.
The most popular breeds of hamsters are dwarfs, Chinese, and Teddy Bear (Syrian)/Golden) hamsters. I wouldn't be able to tell what breed of hamster you have without seeing it. But I can give a description of each one. There are many types of dwarf hamsters including the Campbell's Dwarf Hamster, Russian Dwarf Hamster and Roborovski Hamster. They are the smallest of the hamsters with the Robo(rovski) measuring just 2 inches when fully grown, their colors… Read More
yes teddy bear hamsters are quite mature where as black bear hamsters bite u if they dont like u
No, they cannot breed. They belong to the hamster family, but are entirely different species, in fact they belong to two different genera also.
No they can not only Dwarf hamsters can mate Dwarf hamsters Only Teddy bears can mate Rex hamster or teddy bear hamster or Regular hamsters.
In my opinion, a black bear hamster makes a very loving pet and really cute on top of that. I would go with the hamster because they're also easier to handle.
a hambear will be made
There are many types. Common hamster (any colour), panda bear hamster (black and white), black bear hamster (black), teddy bear hamster (any colour), golden hamster (any colour), albino hamster (white with pink eyes), dwarf hamsters (any colour). All of these hamsters are classified, Winter white, campbell's,etc. All of these hamsters except for dwarf hamsters are considered Syrian hamsters.
They are both types of Syrian hamster, however Syrian are solitary and will fight if another hamster is in their territory. They can get seriously injured so don't have them together.
Both types of hamsters are likely to bite....they are both very aggressive types, and harder to deal with. Actually, Panda bear and Black bear are both just color variations on the same type of hamster, the Syrian hamster. They are in no way aggressive or hard to deal with! They are much easier to deal with than any dwarf types.
Depending on a hamster if you have a darf it can be small but if you have a Teddy bear it will need to be bigger.... So basically depending on the breed but no matter the breed the bigger the happier hamster Hope I helped
3 days ago my neighbor got a Black bear hamster for about $28.99 but we compared hamsers at another store it was only $22.00. So the price is in that region.
yes it's ok, they are both hampsters.
I dont know if which is the best kind of hamster but it is not the syrian hamsters. They are the worst. I have a Teddy Bear hamster and he has not bit me since I got him. (I have had him for 2 months)
All hamsters are different and have different attitudes. Hamsters are very cute and friendly , if you would like a big hamster , I would go with the teddy bear or panda bear hamster since they are pretty fluffy , live for quite a while and they can grow much bigger than a regular hamster. Teddy bear hamsters are very friendly and smart , that was my first breed I hamster and I loved him… Read More
your little black bear hamster is fine he may be just a little agitated you might just need to give your hamster a brake let it sleep a while so the answer is no nothing is really wrong medically
Exactly like any other Syrian hamster. There are some who believe the Black Bear hamster is slightly more aggressive though, so it's not the best choice for a young child.
No, they are two different species, so it couldn't be a hybrid.
get one called a silky- they last about 2 years and you can do anything with them- hamsters do bite so beware don't scare it also another great breed of hamster for beginers is a teddy bear hamster they are quite cuddly and are not to fast...
Try a Syrian hamster. This type of hamster is the biggest and hard to lose. They are very friendly. They also come in different fur patterns. Syrian types are: Panda bear teddy bear golden fancy longhair shorthair
Well, black bear hamsters were bred from teddies to be nicer, but every hamster is different. I'd say they are about the same....
Yes they i have two female hamsters Coco and Fuzzy wheezy
NO. If you put them together, they will most likely try to kill each other.
The black bear hampster is a black color varient of the Syrian Hampster or golden hampster, who's scientific name is Mesocricetus auratus.
I wanted to buy the perfect hamster, looking on the Internet to find a tame breed. I grew impatient so i usually wouldn't go to the pet store, but i did!!!!!!! i found a honey hamster and grew so attached to her. They are very tame. i DO NOT recommend black bear hamster, they are fairly aggressive and are not suited for younger kids. Destiny Any questions?? E-mail me at Alex.email@example.com
They are both just types of Syrian hamster, so either will be fine. It all depends on the individual hamster and if you tame it correctly.
Teddy bear 10.99 Black bear 24.49 Regular 10.99 Dwarf 10.99 to 14.99 Hope this HELPS!! p.s even though the price are not very cheap at Pj's Pet Centre you have a 15 day returning thing for hamsters
as long as it's a boy and a girl and they like each other they can mate with any kind of hamster
