Yes. Electronic cigarettes can be taken on board commercial flights. But most airlines have policies that forbid using them on board. I have found that people are suspicious about the vapor emitted from an e-cig; they're not sure the vapor is safe. And I have found one person who can detect the nicotine in the vapor and this person responds to it physically (eye irritation, stuffiness). So take your e-cigs but occupy yourself with something else during the flight.

∙ 11y agoPer TSA regulations you can transport the device, but it must be separated (the liquid part from the battery part) and the liquid part must be placed in a 1 qt zip-lock bag. And there cannot be any more than 3.4 oz of liquid.
