Can you buy a rifle barrel for a savage 220A?
Nope. Many top break RIFLES may have shotgun barrels, but the reverse is not true. The action of a shotgun is built for much lower pressures than a rifle produces.
Well, yes and no. The rifle version of the 220A was the 219, and barrels were made in .22 hornet, 25-20, 32-20,or 30-30. However, they have been out of production for some time, so they will be hard to find. The action is not designed for higher pressure cartridges such as .308, etc.

It takes either .22 long rifle, or .22 short. It's marked on the barrel.
What is a good gun for simple day to day use. I live in Arizona and I hear that the Savage 340 is a nice little gun for the price.?
That's kind of like asking "what is the best hammer to buy?" A gun is a tool which is specialized for a task. The Savage 340 is a good rifle.
Depends on the sniper and the rifle. Add about 15-20 inches to the barrel length, same as any other rifle. The Remington 700 action used to be very common and probably still is. Barrel lengths are about the same as any varmit rifle, from 20-26 inches roughly. Contrary to popular belief, a longer barrel will not make your rifle more accurate, and people who shoot for a living should be aware of this fact. That… Read More

1-in-66" barrel twist is a Kentucky rifle, not a Hawken. The Hawken brothers used a lot faster twist than that; you needed it for the prairies. Googling "Kentucky Rifle kits" will give you several makers of these rifles in kit form. As to legality for hunting? Any muzzle loading rifle that's at least 50 caliber is legal to hunt with in Idaho.
.300 Savage. This ammo is getting harder to find. You used to have a choice of 150 or 180 grain bullets. The last few years I have only seen the 150 grain offered. If you want to buy online I know Able Ammo does carry .300 Savage. It's a good caliber. I have taken several deer with the same rifle you have.
No, barrel backs to not use the same threads as barrels. You can buy longer barrel fronts to attach to barrel backs.
Check with Rossi Customer Service through their website. Several makers of top break shotguns will sell additional barrels, but require that RIFLES be fitted to the barrel at their factory (higher working pressures with rifle)
When you buy the Raider it does come with a barrel and darts. the barrel does not come off.

18 for all Title 1 firearms, 21 for anything requiring an NFA tax stamp, such as short barreled rifles (barrel length under 16 inches), short barreled shotguns (barrel length under 18 inches), etc.
The value depends on condition of the rifle and the model. IE scratches and dents in the stock etc... also how many rounds have been shot through the barrel. If your below 300 rounds there is still some barrel life left. Guessing you have an average model 70 no bull barrel or Coyote model 70 without a scope 400.00 to 500.00 if in great condition. However when ever I buy a used rifle that can… Read More

If it's s break-barrel rifle, break open the barrel slightly ( Don't cock it) and push a clean swab in from the rear of the barrel. Replace the swab several time until you get a clean swab… Read More

"Best" rifle is a very subjective term, and can open up a LONG discussion- different people will have different favorites- based on their experiences and personal preferences. Winchester, Browning, Ruger, Remington, and Savage have all made .270 cal rifles, along with a host of European makers. You may love the Winchester Mdl 70, and I may love my Browning BAR, and Fred will think his Accu-trigger Savage is the best rifle ever made. Strange thing… Read More
Assuming you are in the US, and subject to US law- yes and no. The TRUE CQBR is a military weapon, and not for sale. However, you CAN buy a civilian equivalent to use on an AR style rifle. There ARE other changes to the rifle (gas rings on bolt, extractor, etc). HOWEVER- this change will result in a rifle with a barrel shorter than 16 inches. As such, under Federal law, this is a… Read More
100-300 USD or so. That may be in some book, I have been trying to buy these rifles for over 3 years and the cheapest decent one was 400.00 usd.. Most want $600.00 -$700.00. Great rifle, super accurate. The best $400-$500 dollar rifle I have ever owned. came in 7mm-08 also, very rare.
Rossi has one for about $150, Marlin and Savage go for $200-300, Ruger has one for about $500 and Winchester runs about $800. There are hundreds available on the used market for almost any price you can name. Check out auctionarms.com
A "sniper gun" is any gun used by a sniper. A high quality precision rifle starts around $1500 that's not to say you can't buy a $600-$700 Remington 700 or savage 110 and shoot it very well.
For a pellet rifle, Yes. For a BB gun, No. BB guns are inaccurate by design. They use a smooth bore barrel whereas most pellet guns use a rifled barrel. This will take advantage of the red dot.
I want to buy a husqvarna 30-06 has sn of 138089 with the crown logo and the word nitro engraved on the barrel what year is the rifle made and model?

You would have to first define what a "commando rifle" is.
An ar15 as a semi automatic rifle, 16" barrel, can be purchased just like any other standard fire arm, depending on laws and regulations in your state. For any other versions, be it shorter barrel, and or automatic fire, no longer making it a standard firearm, additional permits and licenses are required.
JC Higgins never made rifles, this was a brand name used by Sears. Sears had several gun companies making rifles for them under the name JC Higgins. If you want it identified, take it to a gun shop and ask them to identify the original maker. It most likely will be a Mossberg, Savage or some other brand name manufacture. Then you will be able to locate a stock for the rifle.
