Can you buy another ink cartridge for your dell V105 printer?
ofcourse you can! my friend does all the time. You can save your valued money by purchasing compatible ink cartridges for any Dell printer. Because compatible ink cartridges are cheaper as compare to the original one.
Second thing different sellers offer different price for compatible cartridges so take care and do a little search before ordering dell ink cartridges.
3rd and important thing for latest printer models, the price of ink cartridges are relatively high, but with passage of time it decreases.
X9575 Lexmark from what I could find I bought said printer cartridge for my 968 . The cartridge is precisely the same in looks dimensions .. pattern on the circuit board .. even has the same id number on the flexi circuit board .. but the Dell software somehow identifies it as an unsupportable cartridge. Dell have obviously done something. Dell genuine only it looks like.
No when you buy Dell, you have a good printer driver that detects when the cartridge is empty (or maybe just need to be replaced according to Dell), asks you for your visa number and do the rest. Don't try to stop this mechanism, this would be patent violation. As they say: this is for a better customer experience!
If your cartridges are not being recognized by the printer, make sure the tape (often brightly colored) covering the cartridge's vent cycles. Remove the cartridge from the printer. Power the printer off, and leave it off for two minutes. Power the printer back on, and reinstall the cartridge, and then run the head-cleaning cycle.
