Can you carry protein powder in your carry on?
I work in the airport, yes you can but only up to 3oz (2-4 scoops depending on density)...so not much...later
It is definitely alright to use whey protein powder. Just make sure not to overdose on protein because it can be harsh on the kidneys. Also, if you're trying to lose weight/gain muscle, make sure to check out the sugar content of the protein powder. It's best to get the whey protein isolate since that is pure protein powder.
The best way to take protein powder is by reading the directions on the container. It is usually taken with a certain amount of milk/water/soy milk etc. the fluids are calculated depending on the amount of protein powder you take. You can also add your protein powder to smoothies etc. but it is always better to follow the instructions on the container.
You weight 240 and you work out 4-5 times a week what is a good amount of protein you should intake after doing your muscle training?
your daily protein intake should be 1 to 1.5 grams of your bodyweight which means 240-360 grams....after workout you should take about 50-60 grams of protein(not protein powder, while 50-60 grams of protein powder do not provide 50-60 grams of protein but less, since the protein powder is not only protein)...
