To remove the steering wheel on a 1994 Camaro, first disconnect the negative battery cable to avoid airbag deployment. Remove the airbag by unscrewing the retaining bolts on the back of the steering wheel, then carefully disconnect the airbag connector. Use a steering wheel puller to loosen and remove the steering wheel nut, and then gently pull the wheel off the steering column. Make sure to keep track of any washers or spacers during the process.
remove panel directly under the steering wheel. Its a 1.5'' cylinder.
If it is not on the fuse panel then it is on the back of the dash near the steering column.
you will have to pull the tranny out to change it and then you can pop it out with a screwdriver.
