Sorry, but no. Most laptops you can't change the graphics card. The same goes for this laptop. The graphics card is soldered to the motherboard, there is no way of improving it.
There is no graphics card to change as the graphic chips are built into the motherboard. This is common with most makes of laptop computers.
I have a Lenovo Mahobay motherboard also but recently i purchased a video card. I didn't work in the motherboard along with three others i would suggest just getting a good one from newegg.com for about $120 that is what I am doing
igfxtray is the Intel Graphics Accelerator Helper tray application, which allows you to change settings on your Intel graphics system on your motherboard. It it a normal application, and not spyware or a virus.
More thann 3 quarter laptops cannot have there graphics card changed saddly. However, there are people out there who has a kit which allows you to hook a graphics card to a device and the device to go into your laptop. I would not recommend doing so. Laptops have the graphics chips soldered directly onto the motherboard, to save space. Unfortunately, during fault finding, reference is still made about your 'graphics card', assuming the system is a desk top. Repairs to a laptop graphics system, involves re-flowing the solder on the motherboard. Something which requires expensive equipment beyond the average repair shop.
Yes
It depends on the motherboard, and built-in devices. You might have to change the sound card, or the display adapter
you would want to change your motherboard basically why i want to..is that you bought a PCI-express card but your motherboard doesnt support that.or you want a faster processor that your old motherboard doesnt support. hope this info helps.
Probably not. Laptop video cards are built in to the motherboard. The entire laptop is usually built around the motherboard and it probably wouldn't be worth the effort to try to replace it. If you're after a specific graphics card you would be better off building a PC from scratch. Many web sites will sell you everything you need and that gives you the flexibility to mix/match whatever you want.
You could try asking IBM once you've found a model you like. But basicly, make sure it's the same slot type. If your existing graphics card (440MX) is built into the motherboard, then you'll probably have to change some setting in the BIOS to disable the onboard graphics.
Yes very easy, remove the side panel from the case. Remove the old graphics card and replace with the new one. When you turn the PC back on you will need to install the software for the new card. Make sure you buy the right card for your motherboard, AGP, PCI-Express etc
If you want to change the RAM slots, you need to change the motherboard.
